The Meridian Nero

Size 9/11. It is ideally suited for targeting tarpon, permit, giant trevally (GT), roosterfish, salmon, steelhead, Dorado, arapaima, and large striped bass.

Took the Meridian Nero to Exuma for a bonefish trip. The reel handled the bonefish with zero problems. Very light reel and a fantastic drag.

I am a captain on the East Coast. Not much into the flashy, bright colors you see on reels these days. The Nero’s black matte finish is just what I’ve been looking for. The drag is superb, and it handles striped bass, bluefish, and false albacore with ease. Highly recommend.
