Based in Michigan, Mike Habig is a designer, entrepreneur, and lifelong fly fisherman whose work bridges creative leadership with a deep-rooted passion for the outdoors.
As the founder and lead designer of Meridian Fly Reels, Mike combines precision engineering with on-water expertise to create high-performance reels built for demanding anglers. His hands-on design philosophy ensures that every reel reflects both functional excellence, superior durability, and smooth performance.
Alongside his work in the outdoor industry, Mike is the founder of TBI Digital, established in 2001 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Serving as creative director for 25 years, he has guided the agency in developing performance-driven brand identities, web design, and digital strategies for businesses across diverse sectors.
Whether he is shaping digital brands or designing precision fly fishing equipment, Mike brings decades of creative vision, entrepreneurial drive, and authentic outdoor experience to everything he builds.
