I’ve been closely studying the price/value paradox of big-game fly reels for about 10 years. About two weeks ago, the Meridian Titan popped up as a digital advert. Its current pricing represented a complete breakthrough. Listed specifications checked more boxes than those by manufacturers of many $1,000-plus reels. Put to the test against the Reddington Behemoth, The Titan 12 is lighter, stronger, and constantly outperforms the Behemoth. This reel is sooooo smoooth. My clients prefer the Titan 12 and so do I. This reel is the bomb.
